RSNA Sustainability Task Force

The primary focus of the task force will be on environmental sustainability in the field of radiology. In order to narrow the focus, the task force does not have a specific charge related to addressing the impact of climate change on patient health, i.e., health issues as a result of extreme weather. However, the task force may choose to outline potential initiatives within its proposal if it so concludes. Should any actions be suggested for the Society’s operational approach to sustainability or environmental impact, these will be managed through the staff liaison for evaluation by the Society. The Sustainability Task Force will not focus on advocacy or lobbying for legislative initiatives related to sustainability or climate change.
