The committee may also engage in (but not be limited to): a) Establishing and developing relationships with key stakeholders; b) Developing an outreach program to initiate and foster these relationships; c) Amplifying radiology’s voice with key federal government stakeholders and promoting greater understanding of the value of radiology and biomedical imaging innovation; d) Familiarizing RSNA members with RSNA’s government outreach initiatives and equipping stakeholders with the necessary information, tools and resources to effectively communicate within their communities and with key decision-makers and to successfully apply for governmental contracts as appropriate; and e) Educating RSNA members about policymaking and federal agencies and empowering them with ways to become a voice for imaging throughout their careers.
