Cardiovascular Imaging Programs

The following interactive courses are co-sponsored by RSNA, American College of Radiology (ACR), and the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS). Each course is peer reviewed and offered for AMA PRA category 1 credit.

Learning Objectives

  • Review basics of MRI, CT, and nuclear approaches to the study of cardiac anatomy, function, and hemodynamics.
  • Describe the clinical indications of the newer MR and CT based angiographic techniques in the evaluation of vascular diseases.
  • Review well established clinical applications of MRI and CT in the evaluation of acquired and congenital cardio-thoracic disease.
  • Describe the value and limitations of the newer MRI and CT techniques in the evaluation of ischemic heart disease.
